I HAD A DREAM - November 2, 2007

I HAD A DREAM
by arianne

I HAD A DREAM -THAT SOMEDAY
WE’D ALL LIVE IN PEACE
IN FREEDOM AND EQUALITY
A WORLD WHERE NO ONE
IS IN NEED
OH I HAD A DREAM-THAT-
WE’D ALL TAKE BACK
OUR RESPONSIBILITY
TO EACH OTHER, TO OURSELVES
TO OUR EARTH
AND ALL IT’S CREATURES -YEAH

WE THE PEOPLE
WE ARE ONE
AND IN ORDER
TO FORM A MORE PERFECT UNION
Blessed WITH LIBERTY
AND JUSTICE FOR ALL
WITH SACRED HONOR
LIVE WITHIN THE LAW-

THE DIVINE LAW
RISE UP IN KINDNESS
THE RIGHTEOUS LAW
THE RIGHTS OUR CREATOR GAVE US
INDEPENDENT AND FREE
WITHOUT TYRRANY
I HAD A DREAM (That We’d All Live in Peace)
I HAD A DREAM

Abundant Gratitude.

how could a man (a real man) - July 24, 2007

Lyrics by I. M. Stone

Ms. Stone is an Easton resident who was abused
by her former boyfriend.

how could a man hurt a woman
bruise her body and bloody her face
put a gun to her head
(what a disgrace, total disgrace)
tell her if she leaves him
she'll be leaving the world

a real man loves his lady
brings her flowers and walks and talks
and dances and romances
with kisses & hugs & kisses
makes her world a joy

a man doesn't choke a woman
punch her kick her rip out her hair
throw her down the steps
or treat her like she's not there

a real man loves his lady
brings her flowers and walks and talks
and dances and romances
with kisses & hugs & kisses
makes her world a joy

a man doesn't rape her
a man doesn't abuse her
with words or with silence
a man has to sleep
a man never knows what
he
can have done to him
by a woman torn into bloody pieces

a real man loves his lady
brings her flowers and walks and talks
and dances and romances
with kisses & hugs & kisses
makes her world a joy

No Title - July 4, 2007

Only the strong survive, breathless while they're
flying...
Keeping them close near by, I won't sell what you're
buying...
If I was a rare desease, would all of you begin to
catch me?
If I was a pearl in a sea, would my value be doubled
or would I be free?
You can't answer my question but if you could what
would I give you?
You can't find all the meanings but if you should,
I'll meet you there
on that mountain, and there upon that sun lit hill and
there, and there, and that's will you'll find me.

Save Me by Jonathan Cornelius - June 25, 2007

Save Me

Life is so relevant as you pass me by.

Two steps from sanity, and the rest is at stake.

I think I'm looking at all I could have.

This life is so silhouette and placid at night.

I think I'm loosing my heart as a man.

And I don't want to, but maybe that's who I am.

Signs in this direction aren't pointing that way.

I can't let this life go astray.

I think I lost all I once was.

Personality has no price.

And has come to be at stake.

Thoughtless thoughts say this is not.

The way this should be.

I know it's true, but why can't they stay?

Save me, save me

As I look into this canopy of light.

I think I'm a better man, but who's to say of that.

Life was at a break and ready to fall.

I think I found what it's all worth for.

(Chorus)

Save me, save me

Now I will be.

What I thought I could see.

One who is true with his found destination.

This will, will last as I walk, walk the sky.

Life's so receiving, as you live to this side, to this side.

All The Way
Words and Music © 2007 James Wood

You can quote Shakespeare – I can read poetry
The hopeless romantic is what I’ll be
Wanna be there to give you whatever you need
I promise you this down on my knees

Pre-Chorus

Time stands still when I’m with you
Can you feel it too?

Chorus:

Let the lights go out – let the rain fall down
We’re in too deep, there’s no way out
I’ve waited so long to go all the way
When the sun comes up and I see your smile
My whole life becomes worthwhile
There’s nothing to lose – let’s go all the way.

You whisper in my ear – that really turns me on
Something so right just can’t be wrong
I don’t want a moment – or just a one night stand
It’s forever and always if I’m your man

Pre-Chorus

That look in your eyes tells me so
And tonight I know

Chorus:

Let the lights go out – let the rain fall down
We’re in too deep, there’s no way out
I’ve waited so long to go all the way
When the sun comes up and I see your face
Like a photograph time won’t erase
There’s nothing to lose – let’s go all the way.

Bridge:

I get this feeling we’ll never say good-bye
I see my future in your eyes

Let the lights go out – let the rain fall down
We’re in too deep, there’s no way out
I’ve waited so long to go all the way
When the sun comes up and I see your face
Like a photograph time won’t erase
There’s nothing to lose – what more can I say?
Let’s go all the way.
